The goal of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Certificate is to provide you with experience to attain an in-depth understanding of intellectual property and technology law and learn the skills and knowledge base that will be valuable to employers hiring recent graduates. During your second- and third-years of law school, you may design a specialized curriculum, combining doctrinal courses with experiential learning opportunities, to earn a certificate in intellectual property law. Through various events and activities, you will interact with attorneys, policymakers and scholars specializing in the field of intellectual property and technology law.

To declare your intent to complete the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Program certificate, please contact the Registrarto complete and submit the petition form no later than the end of the add/drop period for the semester preceding that of your intended graduation.
